Updated Videos

After much aggravation with uploading videos to blogger, I have finally updated my Video Glossary of Dressage Movements. Take a peep!

I've been having issues viewing the videos, but I hope it's just me...

Questions, comments, and suggestions on how to make it better are certainly welcome and encouraged. Speak up!

WOW! I love those videos and all that information! I'm hoping *fingers crossed* that Diago and I be doing dressage within the next couple years! I've wanted to do it since I was a little kid! I remember throwing on some music and "dancing" around the livingroom as if I were riding and performing dressage...LOL!

Why wait a couple of years? Just start now. You'll get there that much sooner. :)

Yes...I agree...as soon as we can we'll start training in dressage but I suspect I won't be showing in it for a few years yet. Most I'll have to learn through trial and error and info online. There aren't many dressage riding instructors around my area and those that are are VERY expensive and quite the drive away. Figures don't it? I want to learn dressage and it turns out I live in rodeo country...LOL!

Anyway, yes he's an Arabian...although registered only as half as his mother was a rescue and the original owner refused for turn over her paperwork.

The videos look great once I got past the link was taking me to the other page to find them. Sometimes I wonder where my head is........duh.

I'm going to have to go back and check them out again when I'm not so tired. Would be nice to know the correct names for the things I do with my horse. lol

Enjoyed my visit on your site. Thanks for taking the time to show the videos of the movements and adding in the offical descriptions. It really makes a difference. I learned to ride 19 years ago from one of the best Dressage teachers / riders in our area. I didn't get the compitition bug. I take lessons off & on. I have done trail. About to begin one of my "on" lesson cycles. Bad habits take over quickly in my case. I'll be stopping by again.
