I think that it's crap that he is blowing you off. Word of mouth in the equine community in our area is a powerful thing. I think it's nice of you to give him one more chance. This has gone on way too long. Seriously, what is it with people telling you that they'll do something and then never follow through? It's been a trend. I say, if you can't do something, don't lead people on and tell them you can. Just say "I'm sorry I can't do it at this time". I'd be more then a little pissed if I were you at this point.
