Even in Southeast Alabama it can get pretty doggone cold when trekking across the pasture (no trees in the middle to block the wind - Brr :o)Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17608579972739041880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28335578.post-34856745062421971442011-02-05T15:38:03.239-05:002011-02-05T15:38:03.239-05:00Lots of us wait with you and share you desire for ...Lots of us wait with you and share you desire for spring! Icy mess here in SE Pennsylvania today. There is hope: my horses are shedding and I have seen one set of geese that have paired up! No robin sitings yet though. Hang in there!Lbthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11786006516766648482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28335578.post-71299653371462793812011-02-04T16:34:56.227-05:002011-02-04T16:34:56.227-05:00I am impatient about time too right now. Seems I'm alway staking something off or putting it on.

I had a horse that dislocated his fetlock many years ago. He had adhesions. I had to actually put him back to work to get those things worked through but once we did that, he was fine.

I'm still holding out hope for Kaswyn.Rising Rainbowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04239592070775412669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28335578.post-61975284508432047582011-02-03T21:58:45.411-05:002011-02-03T21:58:45.411-05:00I feel the same about winter. You could try acupuncture too. I don't know how expensive that is or if you have any in your area, but I've heard a lot of good things about it.Achieve1dreamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15401246064499148344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28335578.post-40651223952380845572011-02-03T14:18:18.872-05:002011-02-03T14:18:18.872-05:00I hear you. Yesterday we had a brief thaw (mud!), so we went for a short w/t trail ride. The trotting only just peaked his enthusiasm. He wanted to run (so did I)!Valhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07335385366138424092noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28335578.post-11748107364114553152011-02-03T08:09:50.706-05:002011-02-03T08:09:50.706-05:00It's so sad to think about never riding your h...It's so sad to think about never riding your horse again. I hope the massotherapist helps, the way you describe it, it seems it would help. Sad to say but the 20 degree days are the warmer days when I can actually spend an hour at the barn.Marnie Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13241962543917686722noreply@blogger.com
